I’ve invested over 4 years of my life living abroad. From living with a host family in Spain as a young teenager to honeymooning in Italy, travel has always marked my life milestones. I moved abroad to Taiwan and explored Asia. Then, I moved to Egypt and explored the Mediterranean and the Sahara. Now I’m back in my Iowan home state to help others plan their own dream experiences across the globe.
Two of my favorite destinations are Italy and Japan. Italy holds a special place in my heart because my husband and I had our honeymoon there. We loved exploring the historical sights, decadent foods, and beautify scenery. There’s nothing better than sitting with loved ones on a Roman rooftop restaurant at sunset and admiring the temples below with a good glass of wine in hand.
My recent trip to Japan expanded my vast knowledge and expertise in travel to Asia. Whether you’re interested in exploring shrines, getting up into the mountains, walking the alleys of Shinjuku, sampling street food, discovering silkworm houses, or relaxing in an artistic island escape, Japan holds many secret finds, and I can unlock them for you.
