Travel allows individuals to experience this magnificent world we all share. I believe that experiencing cultures other than one’s own is a wonderful way to put oneself in another’s shoes and understand the beauty that comes with diversity.
A unique fact about me is that I’ve lived in various parts of Germany, working with children on US Army Posts. One of my favorite destinations to visit is Lake Eibsee in Grainau, Germany. The view of the tallest mountain in Germany towering over the crystal-clear waters of this glacial lake is unmatched! I also thoroughly enjoyed eating Steckerlfisch (grilled fish on a stick) at the restaurant overlooking the lake.
