Once we have arrived in New Orleans, we will transfer to our hotel in the French Quarter. This evening, we’ll enjoy a group dinner at Arnaud’s (D)
DAY 2 Tuesday, September 9
Our adventure begins with breakfast at the hotel followed by an immersive day of exploration. Wander through the historic French Quarter, gaze at the majestic St. Louis Cathedral at Jackson Square, and admire the antebellum grandeur in the Garden District. Learn of unique burial traditions at St. Louis Cemetery #3, delve into the rich African American history in Tremé, and pay your respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Slave. After breakfast at the hotel, join us for an enthralling Voodoo tour starting at the tomb of the legendary Marie Laveau. Learn about the differences between Haitian & New Orleans Voodoo, Santeria, and Hoodoo Discover the richness of Voodoo traditions at historical sites like Congo Square, known for Voodoo ceremonies and the birth place of jazz. Venture into stories of Voodoo queens and mystical practices that shape the city’s culture. With the evening upon us, brace for chilling tales at Myrtle's Plantation, reputedly one of America’s most haunted locales, its haunting legacy woven through the Deep South’s past.
DAY 4 Thursday, September 11
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before spending a free day exploring the sights of New Orleans. In the evening, savor dinner at Commanders Palace, a landmark in the Garden District since 1893, known for its award-winning food and service, and a glimpse into the city’s storied past. After dinner, join our local guide for a private paranormal investigation at two haunted locations in the French Quarter. You'll hear a brief history of each site and receive paranormal equipment like SLS cameras and spirit boxes, with instruction on how to use them. The investigation, lasting about three hours, allows you to explore and capture evidence of paranormal activity, assisted by your guide.
DAY 5 Friday, September 12
After a final breakfast at the hotel, reminisce about your adventures as our guide assists with your airport transfer. Carry home the enchanting spirit of New Orleans.
