FLY TO MIAMI, FLORIDA

Today we will fly from Cedar Rapids to Miami for a stay in a hotel before boarding our ship tomorrow!

 

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 1

MIAMI, FLORIDA

Transfer from the hotel to the Norwegian Encore and board the ship to begin your Caribbean getaway! Miami's amazing medley of cultures and flashy urban settings makes it a scene to be seen. Visit the trendy Art Deco district of South Beach, Calle Ocho in Little Havana, the super-upscale neighborhoods of Coconut Grove and Coral Gables and the unique ecosystem of the Everglades. TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 2

AT SEA

Cutting-edge technology and daring new thrills take cruising to a whole new level. While at sea today, watch the ocean blur by as you zoom around curves suspended 13 feet over the side of the ship on the largest race track at sea. Bring the secrets of the past to life in the lost city of Atlantis, where laser tag meets augmented reality. Ready for an immersive experience? THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4

WILLEMSTAD, CURACAO

Walk around this quaint harbor town and you'll think you've travelled back in time to Old Amsterdam. Admire the colorful Dutch architecture and take advantage of the excellent shopping. Relax on 17-century veranda with a drink made with the famous Curaçao liqueur. (B, L, D)

 

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5

KRALENDIJK, BONAIRE

Speak Papiamentu? That's OK. English and Dutch are also used in Kralendijk, the capital of Bonaire, an island nestled in the Caribbean Netherlands. This spot offers an abundance of water activities from coral reef diving to kayaking, catamaran sailing and 4X4 safari adventures. (B, L, D)

 

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6

ORANGESTAD, ARUBA

Incredibly white sands and cobalt blue seas make the small island of Aruba a popular destination. In the bustling freeport town of Oranjestad, sherbet-colored Dutch colonial buildings, draped in bougainvillea, oleander and hibiscus are simply picturesque. Small, but informative museums relate the island's history. (B, L, D)

 

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 7

SANTA MARTA, COLOMBIA

Admire the stunning bays of Santa Marta and popular beaches. Explore the ancient cultures of the Taironas who occupied the land thousands of years ago. Stroll over to the Cathedral and admire its beautiful architecture and learn about its history. (B, L, D)

 

MONDAY, FEBRUARY 8

CARTAGENA, COLOMBIA

The old walled city of Cartagena reflects a turbulent history of conquistadors and pirates. Climb "las murallas" for an unforgettable view of the harbor. Shop for emeralds and leather goods along the cobblestone streets of this enchanting city. (B, L, D)

 

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 9

PANAMA CANAL/GATUN LAKE, PANAMA COLON, PANAMA

When you book an overland journey on your partial transit of the Panama Canal, you’ll really travel like the jetsetters do as you sail through the Caribbean entrance of this maritime marvel. Once we arrive at Gatun Lake, booked shore excursion guests can disembark for an unforgettable adventure that not only promises beautiful scenery and wonderful photo ops, but an exciting jaunt to Colón, where guests will resume their cruise back aboard the ship. How’s that for excitement? Please note, only booked shore excursion guests can disembark at Gatun Lake. But everyone is welcome to explore at our port-of-call in Colón. (B, L, D)

 

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10

PUERTO LIMON, COSTA RICA

Puerto Limón is known for its multi-cultural community and a festive annual carnaval celebration. In recent years the area has become even better known as must-see stop for eco-tourists. The region's unique geography and neo-tropical climate combined with abundant rainforests make for one of the most naturally diverse "biospheres" in the world. And you can take advantage of national parks and reserves in all directions from Limón. Pay close attention when you dock as many guests have reported seeing peaceful sloths lumbering in the trees right in port! (B, L, D)

 

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11

AT SEA

Beyond the activities and relaxation on the Norwegian Epic, there is plenty of entertainment. Consider going to a Broadway Show, musical or comedy club. (B, L, D)

 

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12

AT SEA

Prior to leaving the ship tomorrow, soak in one more day onboard. No better way to relax than with a day at sea. Explore any remaining bars and lounges today. You’ll enjoy their 180-degree indoor observation lounges—giving Norwegian’s most expansive views at sea. (B, L, D)

INTERNATIONAL ENTRY

All passengers are required to have a passport valid through August 13, 2021. Non-US citizens must have a valid passport and advise Travel Leaders/ Destinations Unlimited of your nationality at the time of deposit.

 

GROUP PHOTO POLICY

Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited reserves the right to take photos during any part of the tour and to use them for promotional purposes. By booking a reservation with Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited, group members agree to allow their images to be used in such photos. Group members who prefer that their images not be used are asked to advise their group escort at the beginning of the tour.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited, escorts and hosts, selected air carrier, selected hotel, ground operators, cruise line, the shipowner, and their affiliates, shall have no liability for loss or damage to baggage and property, or for personal injuries or delay due to the acts or omissions of any carrier, hotel operator, restaurant, or any other supplier of services or facilities caused by weather, strike, war, quarantine or for any other reason or by the shipowner, and is governed by the terms and conditions printed on the cruise contract which is issued to all guests.
