April 15, 2021 – Cedar Rapids, Iowa – For the third consecutive year, Travel Leaders / Destinations Unlimited was awarded the “Agency of Excellence” by Travel Leaders Network on Wednesday, April 14.
In a normal year, the agency would have received the award and special designation at the annual Edge Conference conducted by Travel Leaders Group. However, due to COVID restrictions the meeting was postponed to 2021 and the award was presented virtually.
Travel Leaders Regional Franchise Consultant, Jan Brett, remarked, “Without a doubt, 2020 was a challenging and out of the ordinary year. So much so that we forgot how successful 2019 was. Under normal circumstances, we would have met in person at our EDGE national meeting and it is there that we would have recognized Associate members for their outstanding performance in the use of Travel Leaders Programs, Products and Services– the Agency Of Excellence (AOE) Awards. Because the AOE awards are a benchmark of personal success, we didn’t want to overlook them.”
